BERGEN (E24): Vollvik speaks for the first time after being released. You think the supplier is at fault for delivering the wrong mouthpiece, but you don’t say who the supplier is.

The case is being updated.
Idar Vollvik has contacted the importer, claiming that they have received a possible incorrect order from.
– We have had a dialogue with the supplier and we have received a credit note for the whole group.
– Does this mean that the importer acknowledges that he has made a mistake?
– Yes. No one would have paid me several million crowns if they weren’t sure, so to speak. Nor do I believe that the importer did anything in bad faith, I dare not believe it.
You think there has been a misunderstanding or mistake about the supplier’s imported products in the Netherlands. Vollvik further claims that it is “a couple of hundred thousand” bandages that must have been shipped with possible mislabeling.
– Can you say something about who is this importer?
– Nerd.
– Has the money been paid yet?
– I don’t know, I’m not following you.
You think the supplier is at fault
– Have you and the importer had a good dialogue through this case?
– We have had dialogue, but I don’t know if I mean well. It pissed me off, to say the least. This has been incredibly devastating for me, I am the one sitting and getting naked all over Norway. We think this is unfair, says Vollvik.
It maintains that the misunderstanding concerns a batch purchased by a Norwegian supplier.
– It should have been as strict as we were with Norwegian suppliers when we imported ourselves. I thought that all importers were treated equally strictly, but obviously not, says Vollvik.
– Can you say something about the type of mask you have received?
– We don’t know what we get. We ordered type I, we were billed for type I and paid for type I, then of course we think we have received type I. It will be cleared up when the bandage test is ready.
He also claims that there were “several more face masks” that were coming out, which they located and detained before handing them out to customers.
– Only we who are on the gallows
Vollvik admits to repackaging a bandage, but not criminal guilt. The reason for this, he explains, is that “everyone” packs a bandage.
– That is, repacking a bandage is not a crime. Pharmacies, chains and everyone does it. There is nothing wrong in it. This is the brand where we have failed.
He goes on to say that they come in boxes of 2000 and are repackaged in smaller packages. He points out that it is the marking of the bandages where he and his company have made a mistake.
– We think we have been one of the best there, he says, and continues:
– But only we are in the gap. It’s not comfortable, but we have the spine to carry it, because we know we only mean well.
Vollvik was arrested Tuesday morning and charged by the police under the Medical Equipment Act. He was released on Wednesday night after being questioned for a long time.
Police have previously confirmed that they suspect Vollvik of having marked and repackaged bandages in Norway. This was confirmed Wednesday afternoon by Vollvik defender Einar Råen.
