Expect 1.5 million support
When asked by Nettavisen, the new leader says the organization expects to receive NOK 500,000 in support during the first year from both the state and the municipality. They have the ambition to gain 1,500 members in the first year, which will provide approximately 1.5 million crowns of support in two years.
– Our ambition is to create a society in which we treat animals with empathy and think about their individual experience and destiny. When we do, it will be a great victory for us, and having founded a philosophical society, we are a great and important step towards that goal, says Tretvoll Althand.
