– There is a problem with the provider Nets that affects all payments in Norway, he told VG, adding that it was still possible to use reservation solutions for payment.
Shortly after midnight, Nets claims that they have found the cause of the problem and that it has been resolved.
– The operational issue was due to a network error with us, and has now been identified and resolved. Normal operations are gradually being restored, writes Nets press manager Søren Winge in an email to VG.
He claims that the problem arose a little before 10 p.m., and that it was resolved a little before midnight.
Earlier in the evening, Winge confirmed that problems with them affected payments in Norway and Denmark:
– That’s right. We have some problems affecting payments in Norway and Denmark. We are working to identify the problem as soon as possible. It has been on the page at 10 at night and affects terminals and online payment. We hope it is resolved tonight, he said.
