Police write that they plan to have an isolated role during marking, and that there will be uniformed police and civilians in the area.

Therefore, the police are on high alert, but urges those in Østre Torg on Saturday to avoid the police having to intervene.
– We hope and recommend that all those who come forward contribute to a peaceful and non-violent celebration. We encourage parents to be with minors if they will be in the area around Østre Torg in connection with the celebration, says Chief of Staff Pål Erik Teigen.
