Police look for victims

On Sunday morning, Operations Manager Rune Hekkelstrand in the Oslo Police District claims criminal cases have been opened for knife robbery, knife threats and violence after a youth party at Snarøya in Bærum on Saturday night.

The police encourage people to report if someone has been the subject of criminal acts in Snarøya on Saturday night.

– We haven’t arrested anyone at this time. There were a lot of young people in the place and we didn’t talk to everyone. We now encourage people who have been subjected to criminal acts to contact the police, COO Rune Hekkelstrand tells Dagbladet.

– Do you suspect that there may be more offended?

– First we were notified of robbery and knife threats, and then we were notified of robbery with a knife. The events occurred almost at the same time, so we cannot rule out that several have been subjected to criminal acts.

Hekkelstrand claims they have secured leads, witness statements, videos, and stopped buses in the area.

– We have good tracks to work on.

Initially, the police were notified of the shooting, prompting armed police to move to the scene. Police were also notified of noise and damage to a car and a house.
