Two people have been found dead after the fire, but police do not know who they are.

It was Thursday morning that it began to burn heavily in a commercial building at Moelv in Ringsaker.

One person was reported missing and later the same day a dead person was found in the building. The person must have worked on the roof.

Police are also investigating whether the fire may have started.

I don’t know who the dead are

The case became even more dramatic when another person was found in the building yesterday. None of the dead has been identified and has been sent for an autopsy.

At the same time, two people are missing in the area. On Tuesday this week, a person was reported missing in Gjøvik and a person in Ringsaker has been missing for several weeks. The police are investigating whether there may be a connection between these cases and are keeping all possibilities open.

– We do not know that any of these have a connection to Moelv or the scene of the fire, says police attorney Sten Floor Nelson.

No cars have been found in the area where the owner has not been accounted for.

Kripos attends

The building was full of motorhomes and pleasure boats, but none of the owners of these have been reported missing and the police cannot say anything about whether the other person may be the perpetrator.

– We cannot confirm or deny anything. We keep all possibilities open. Police are also investigating whether something criminal may have happened.

When can you find out who the two people are?

– We will receive an answer when we receive the autopsy reports. We don’t know when they will arrive, but when it comes to the first, it is not said before Friday, says Floor Nelson.

Police continue today with a technical and tactical investigation with the assistance of Kripos. Today’s plan is to use a fire dog.

Reporter Tom Haakenstad is at the scene of the fire Friday morning. Report a great and frenzied activity at the scene of the fire.

– I’ve seen six or seven policemen in addition to people from the fire department. So it’s hectic activity, says Haakenstad.
