One hundred days in the same house in the middle of a pandemic led to a stormy crush.
– The crown is not only negative. If he brought something good, it is Märta, says Petter Stordalen to the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet.
It was this summer that the relationship between the hotel magnate and billionaire Petter Stordalen (57) and the Swedish elite pilot Märta Elander Wistén (30) became known.
They have known each other for a while, but the relationship is said to have developed in a romantic direction after the New Year.
– We met by chance a couple of times, and we keep in touch after that. We discussed your arrival and greeting in Oslo. I told him it might not be the right time as I was not my best because of this crisis, Stordalen tells Aftonbladet.
– He said he’d visit me for a couple of days anyway.
– Märta arrived in Norway and the country was closed almost immediately. She stayed for a hundred days and we were together 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. She took my focus away from all the horrible things that happened, says the millionaire.

Hard momment
The crown crisis has been demanding on the hotel magnate, both because of failed tourism and because of his role on Hurtigruten’s board of directors.
In April alone, his hotel company lost NOK 450 million.
And when the report of the external investigation after the outbreak aboard the MS “Roald Amundsen” showed several errors and deficiencies in the internal handling, Stordalen apologized to all of Norway.
– On behalf of the Hurtigruten board of directors, I’ll start by saying: I’m sorry. Apologies to the passengers, crew, authorities and medical attention. And to Tromsø. I want to apologize to all of Norway, Stordalen said.
