Per Sandberg has been hired as Acting Director of Fisheries.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Ministry of Trade and Industry issued a press release stating that Per Sandberg had been hired as acting director of fisheries.
There’s just one little problem: according to Statistics Norway, there are 17 men in Norway who have Per Sandberg as their first and last names.
One of them has been, among other things, parliamentary representative of FRP and Norwegian Minister of Fisheries, another has been acting director of fisheries for a period, before becoming a substitute in the same position until October 2021.
Therefore, the former FRP politician will not become director of fisheries, but will continue to run the Grand Bar in Halden.
He himself shared a screenshot of the NRK ad on Facebook, with the text “Yes, he’s busy now.” Just over an hour, 212 “likes” and a series of congratulations later, Sandberg had to correct some misunderstandings and add: “There are many Per Sandberg”

Several have reacted to the error on social media.
