– We have had one death in the last 24 hours, communications director Marit Kvikne tells NRK.
This is the second coronary disease-related death at St. Olav’s Hospital since the pandemic outbreak.
It was Adresseavisen who first reported the death.
Kvikne will not indicate the age or sex of the deceased.
– This is partly due to privacy concerns.
St. Olav Hospital now has three patients admitted with Covid-19. None of them receive respiratory treatment. Levanger and Namsos hospitals do not admit coronary patients.
Four died in the last 24 hours
Two corona patients at Ahus in Lørenskog have died in the past 24 hours, the hospital reports to Romerikes Blad.
The management does not want to reveal the age, place of residence or sex of the deceased. A total of 31 deaths related to coronary heart disease have been recorded at the hospital.
A corona-sick resident at the Solvik nursing home in Bærum died on Friday.
– We offer our condolences and our thoughts go out to the bereaved, writes the municipal head of the municipality of Bærum in a press release.
This is the fifth crown-related death on Bærum so far in November.
