NRK, together with the OCCRP network of journalists, has revealed that the bandages that arrived in Norway on March 23, came from a factory that since 2019 has participated in the job exchange program, which is sponsored by the Chinese authorities.

Prime Minister Erna Solberg was one of those who received the bandages at Gardermoen. 2 million bandages and 2.3 million infection coats from the factory have been destined for Norwegian hospitals and municipalities.

The Norwegian Uyghur Committee believes that the exchange program is just undercover forced labor. You cannot say no to participation in it, says Secretary Adiljan Abdurihim in the Uyghur Committee.

– Saying that it does not mean that they can be sent to concentration camps. Therefore, they have no other choice, they have to go there to save the family or themselves. tells NRK.

The Granberg company has distributed 1 million nozzles.

– It’s crying. If there’s one thing I’m passionate about, it’s that workers should be finesays the chairman of the board, Ole M. Granberg.

The Chinese embassy in Oslo rejects the forced labor accusations and says that the accusations of human rights violations against the minority Uyghur are “lies of the century.”

Prime Minister Solberg tells NRK that it was difficult to obtain infection control equipment in the initial phase of the pandemic.

– If it turns out that one of the suppliers used forced labor, it is serious and something from which we strongly dissociate ourselvessays Solberg.
