– In the meeting we had on Thursday the case of the supervision plan for 2021 was given. There was a contribution in the Supervisory Board if we had to have a general audit of the guidelines and routines that Norges Bank has for monitoring the personnel authorized by security. It will be discussed further at the next meeting, writes the president of the Supervisory Board, Julie M. Brodtkorb, in an email to Dagens Næringsliv.

On December 4, Nicolaisen had to leave his post when he did not receive a new security clearance. The reason, according to him, was that his wife is a Chinese citizen and lives in China.

Director Gudmund Gjølstad of the Civil Dispatch Authority generally emphasizes that citizenship in itself is not decisive for the outcome of an eviction case. An authorization decision is based on a thorough evaluation, according to Gjølstad.
