The Bodø municipality reported on the infection situation and the upcoming celebration on May 17.
On Wednesday, a new case of infection was confirmed in the county’s head stop, without an overview of the follow-up.
However, head of infection control Kai Brynjar Hagen has a clear idea of when the worst is over.
There were no new people infected last day, a total of 35 in Bodø, says communications manager Tord Berthinussen in the municipality.
– Little infection does not mean zero infection. Everyone should be aware of this. With favorable development, there has been a perception that it is not dangerous. The last thing with local spread is a reminder, and the infection is found in places over which we have no control. It’s as expected, but it’s a serious situation for those who don’t take infection control rules as carefully, says Hagen.
– Worried
About the Russians:
– It is fun to have fun and have fun, but not what will be an accident for others. We must end that.
– I’m worried about the Russian. Most have shown good behavior, but there is a minority that worries me. Is seriously. Many have the worst experience of their lives, with consequences and measures to spread, such as anxiety, depression and abusive conditions at home. This gives those who don’t think about infection control.
– I hope this is not seen as moralizing, but as concrete professional training.
Police councils
The police have good experience with the Russian, says the head of the Geographical Operations Unit (GDE) Salten and the head of the Bodø police station, Robin Johnsen.
– There have been small incidents where we have been present. But we share the concern about the danger of infection and next weekend. Our work is with guidance and advice and we are strengthening ourselves towards the weekend, says Johnsen.
It points to the focus on travelers and minors, which happened last weekend.
Mayor Ida Pinnerød agrees:
– I have to boast of many Russians who take on a great responsibility that provides smaller groups and has behaved quite exemplary. But there are some who don’t listen to it and observe the infection control rules.
He also asks parents of minors to stay tuned for the upcoming weekend.
