NFF confirms that Solbakken will bring much of the gadget that was with Lars Lagerbäck, but the former FCK boss also brings new faces.

Brede Hangeland enters a new role as player director, Kent Bergersen becomes Solbakken’s assistant, while Andrew Findlay becomes an analyst.

The association claims that Hangeland’s role will be to follow up with individual players from the A national team, as well as mapping and following relevant players and respective clubs between meetings.

The former national team stopper will also have additional responsibility for role training for defensive players.

The 39-year-old has worked as a Premier League expert for TV 2 in recent years, and Vegard Jansen Hagen, the channel’s sports manager, confirms that Hangeland will take over before the new year.
