Crisis management in the Bodø municipality, in consultation with the infection control director, decided on Friday to introduce the most stringent infection control measures into crown regulations.
– It was difficult to reach this conclusion, but now incredibly important steps are being taken, said Mayor Ida Pinnerød.
She understands that the measures will feel very intrusive and cause uncertainty for some.

Introduces regional measures in ten municipalities in Nordland
The infection control doctor in Bodø municipality, Kai Brynjar Hagen, is clear that the situation is dire.
– The infection control professional in this situation has been thoroughly discussed in the municipality, with the state administrator, the National Institute of Public Health and the Norwegian Health Directorate. - Libraries
- Bingo halls, game rooms, playgrounds, bowling alleys, and similar venues.
- Museums
- Cinema, theater, concert halls and similar cultural and entertainment spaces.
- Other public places and shops where cultural, entertainment or leisure activities take place that bring people together inside.
Events ban:
- Events are not allowed, except for funerals and burials.

Meetings and private events
- It is not allowed to organize or participate in meetings that take place in or in connection with a private home or vacation home, and where more than 5 guests other than those living in the home are present at the same time.

The obligation to wear a face mask applies correspondingly to the driver when there are passengers in the taxi.
- The obligation to wear a mask in the first paragraph applies correspondingly to employees in places where it is not possible to keep at least one meter away from visitors. This does not apply to employees in places where other infection control measures have been implemented for employees, such as the use of visors, partitions, etc. in accordance with the recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health.
- The obligation to wear a mask does not apply to children under 12 years of age, nor to those who for medical or other reasons cannot use a mask.
Educational and educational institutions
- Universities, colleges and vocational schools must keep their facilities closed to pupils and students, so that teaching is done digitally.
