– They must be isolated as if they were sick

Close contacts who develop symptoms should be isolated as if they were sick.

Today, people infected with the coronavirus must be isolated at home, while close contacts with those infected with the virus must be in quarantine.

Requirements are now being introduced that those who are quarantined and develop symptoms must be isolated immediately until a possible negative test result is available.

Quarantine must be completed

The 10-day quarantine period must be completed in its entirety, even if you get a negative response to the test. The government is changing the quarantine rules to clarify this.

Isolation means staying in one’s own home or in another suitable place of residence isolated from others as much as possible.

Close contacts of the infected person are recommended to be tested.

Everyone who has been in close contact with an infected person should be quarantined. Now it is recommended that they test themselves. This makes it possible to isolate infected household members and quarantine more quickly. The 10-day quarantine period must be completed in full, even if you get a negative response to the test.
