The United States has set another dismal crown record. The number of corona patients in American hospitals has passed 100,000 for the first time.
This is the highest number so far during the pandemic, and the number has nearly doubled since the first wave of infections, according to The Guardian.
At the same time, more than 200,000 new cases of infection were confirmed in the country on Wednesday.

That worries Robert Redfield, director of the US National Center for Communicable Diseases (CDC) and one of President Donald Trump’s own health leaders.

“The reality is that December, January and February are going to be tough times,” Redfield said at an event Wednesday, according to The Washington Post.
