According to Putin’s Russian critic’s team, the Novitsjok neurotoxin must have been detected in one of the water bottles in his hotel room.

Navalny’s team reports on Instagram that Putin’s Russian fighter Alexei Navalny was not poisoned at the airport as first thought, but from a bottle of water in his hotel room.

Reuters reports. Navalny was poisoned on August 20 after a visit to the Russian city of Tomsk.

A video shared on Navalny’s Instagram account shows two bottles of water in what will be the hotel room he stayed in in Tomsk before flying to Moscow. According to Navalny’s team, the German laboratory has confirmed that they have found traces of the neurotoxin novitsjok in one of the bottles.

It was on a flight from Tomsk to Moscow that the plane had to make an emergency landing due to Navalny’s health. He was then transferred to a hospital in Russia, before being transferred to Germany.

POSSIBLE ERROR: Navalny’s team first thought he was infected from a cup of tea he drank at Tomsk airport.

Analysis shows that he was poisoned with Novitsjok. Navalny managed to breathe alone for the first time since the Sept. 15 poisoning.

Today’s Instagram post can be viewed here.

This is a screenshot of the bottles that were secured from the hotel room:

Part of Navalny’s team was still in Tomsk after he left, according to the Instagram post.

They contacted a lawyer and went up to the room where they had lived. They write that they put together everything that “could hypothetically be useful.” And this was then handed over to the doctors in Germany.

The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPWC) states that Germany has asked for help to investigate the alleged use of Novitsjok. OPWC experts have sampled Navalny at designated laboratories.

Investigative journalists from “Project” have come to the same conclusion, they write today. They claim that Navalny was poisoned before reaching the airport. They have checked with the S7 airline, which says that they collected all the bottles after the flight, and that the bottle that was handed over to the German doctors therefore could not have come from the plane.

A woman named Marija Pevchik is singled out by “Projekt” as the one who managed to bring the bottles from Siberia to Germany on August 22. Because she is less known than other Navalny staff, she confirms it to “Project”.

According to “Project”, the security service took control of the video cameras at the Khander Hotel while Navalny lived there.

“This means that they can reconstruct in detail what has happened, if they have any desire to do so.”says in the article.
