A sixth person was found in London after testing positive for the “worrying” Brazilian mutant virus, writes The Guardian.
The search for the mysterious carrier lasted a week and involved a team of 40 people to prevent further infection, the newspaper reports.

It is feared that the virus is much more contagious and has greater resistance to the vaccine than the original version of Covid-19.
The mutation is now known as P1 and originates from Manaus, Brazil. Last Sunday it was revealed that six people in England had been infected with this variant and five of them had been placed in isolation.
However, it was unclear where the remaining sixth person was.
Three of the cases were discovered in England, while three were brought to P1 in Scotland.
Anyone who had conducted a home test between February 12-13 and received no response was encouraged to contact the corona phone number.
Mysterious carrier found
Health Minister Matt Hancock reported that the carrier was found in West London, in Croydon, and that the person in question apparently did not infect anyone else.
Hancock reported that the person did not fill out the form correctly and that several tests will be sent in the appropriate area.
Earlier this week, The Guardian wrote that the Brazilian mutant has been discovered in 15 countries that are not on Britain’s travel red list.
This means that visitors from countries with the mutant were not prohibited and could enter home quarantine.
So far 4.5 million people have been diagnosed with the virus in the UK and around 124,000 have died as a result.
