On Saturday night, the police launched a search in the area around Blefjell in Numedal, after a 69-year-old woman was reported missing. The search has continued during the day and continues at night.
Tonight, the police also come out with a photo of the missing woman.
– The family wants the media to share the image and receive suggestions, says Southeast Police Operations Manager Tore Grindem.
He says the photo of the woman was taken earlier in the day yesterday, and she was dressed the same way when she disappeared, as in the photo. The only difference was that he was wearing hiking shoes and not boots.
Left the cabin
The woman wore a green jacket and pants to walk on Saturday. He is 160 centimeters tall, has a normal physique and has half blonde hair, police said Saturday.
She was last seen in Butjønnseter in the municipality of Rollag at 4:00 p.m. yesterday.
– She was in the cabin, and he left her around 4:00 p.m. He was going for a short walk, but did not return. Her husband was looking for her and around 6 p.m. alerted police, the operations manager says.
He continues:
– This is a physically healthy woman, who may have come a long way.
According to Grindem, it was good weather and sun, some wind and around 5 degrees when the woman went for a walk yesterday.

Both police helicopters and Sea King helicopters have contributed to the search today, but are currently on the ground to pause.
Other contributors are Norwegian Rescue Dogs, who write on Twitter that they are participating in the search operation with an operational leader and eight teams of dogs.
– Around 60 volunteers also participate in the search, several with quads. Listening posts have been set up and we are trying to retrieve the police helicopter so it can search with a thermal camera, says the operations manager.

On Sunday morning, the police asked cabin owners to search their own cabins, outbuildings, sheds, garages, and the like.
– The search will continue overnight and will continue tomorrow if we do not make any discoveries. The search area widens, at the same time we go through the already searched area again, says operations manager Grindem.
