NEW YORK (Dagbladet): Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber announced the dramatic tightening after large numbers of students in particular have flocked to town recently to celebrate and have America’s annual spring break, Spring Break. .

At a press conference on Saturday, he announced that the city will introduce a curfew starting at 8 p.m. local time. Additionally, access roads to Miami Beach from the mainland will be closed to anything other than local traffic for the next few nights.

The state of emergency will last at least 72 hours.
