At midnight on Thursday night, 30,767 people infected with corona were registered in this country. This is an increase of 662 cases reported in the last 24 hours.
That’s 68 more than the day before and 40 more than the night before Thursday a week ago, preliminary figures from the National Infectious Disease Notification System (MSIS) show.
In the last seven days, a total of 3,551 new cases of infection have been registered in Norway.
143 corona patients were hospitalized on Wednesday. There are four more than on Tuesday. So far, more than 2 million people have been tested for the coronavirus in this country.
A total of 301 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March, according to preliminary figures. It is not always possible to establish whether patients have died from or with COVID-19. People in their 80s make up the largest group.
