Martin Ødegaard | Ødegaard with a clear speech in the Mustafa case

[ad_1]

– Stop the eviction of Mustafa, Ødegaard writes in a post on Instagram.

The case of Mustafa Hasan, who came to Norway with his family when he was six years old, has sparked a lot of commitment.

The 18-year-old was previously told to leave the country by December 28, before it became clear on Wednesday that the departure deadline had been postponed to January 18.

The reason Mustafa has to leave the country is that the Board of Immigration Appeals (Une) notes that the mother declared an incorrect nationality when they arrived in Norway in 2008.

Ødegaard’s clear speech

He now has the support of national team star Martin Ødegaard.

On Instagram, Ødegaard has written and shared a post where he expresses his views on the matter.

Mustafa came to Norway when he was 6 years old and has lived in Norway for more than 13 years. He has no other memories of life than the life he has lived and lives in Norway. His only wish is to stay. Elder brother Abdel received a residence permit, while Mustafa, who has been in Norway since he was even younger, is now expelled and punished for something his mother did when they arrived in Norway 13 years ago, Ødegaard writes and continues:

– For me, it is obvious that in this case all common sense has been put aside, and Mustafa is being punished for something that he himself has not done. He must defend someone else’s action committed when he himself was 6 years old. I think it is completely WRONG.

Ødegaard: – Stop the eviction

Ødegaard also reveals that he himself had a chat with the 18-year-old.

– Today I spoke with Mustafa and heard his strong story. I realized how much he wants to stay in Norway and how much it means to him.

– This is where your life is and it has been for the past 13 years, Ødegaard writes.

– I hereby come with a wish for this Christmas: Stop the eviction of Mustafa, is your clear message.
