On the Friday episode of the NRK radio show “Character” featuring comedians Jonis Josef (28), Henrik Farley (27) and Martin Lepperød (27), something unexpected happened.
Given that, Lepperød Jonis Josef had to decide on a completely optional new name for him immediately, much to Joseph’s surprise.
After thinking about giving Lepperød the name of Martine Lepperød, Martin “lil uzi kid” Lepperød and Anders Olsen, the choice finally fell to Axel Henny.
It is not possible to hide under the chair that the name is inspired by the actor Aksel Hennie (44).
In response to the new name, Lepperød almost laughed, before finally deciding to make the name a middle name. This then went beyond Lepperød’s original middle name, Sundbø, which comes from his mother.
Finally, the name was written like this: Martin Axel Henny Lepperød.
During the radio show, Lepperød submitted the application for his new middle name to the Tax Agency, with great enthusiasm from the other boys. At the same time, he apologized to his mother for removing the middle name.
According to the Tax Agency websites, you can change your own name, as well as the names of the children for whom you have parental responsibility, if they are under 16 years of age.
It is claimed that it can take up to four weeks to process an application manually. If you are over 16 years of age, you cannot, in principle, take, change or delete names or surnames more than once every ten years. However, there are exceptions to this.
– Terrible stupid idea
Facing Dagbladet, Lepperød says the name change did not come to him until he sent the request.
– Yes, it was really when I realized that it was a terribly stupid idea. Because I had really imagined that Jonis would give me his last name, and that it should be a friendly declaration of love. But then I forgot that Henrik and Jonis are two idiots, they too. You should have seen it coming, says the comedian and “P3morgen,” the host.
In addition, Lepperød says that the proposal was his, since they have a fixed column in the radio program called “Best friend”.
– There we compete for who is the best friend, and there we compete for who was the best friend of Jonis. Then I should let him change my name, he explains.
– What do you think of your new middle name?
It’s not that bad. All I hope is that actor Aksel Hennie, of whom I’m a megafan, doesn’t get mad that a clown has brought his name to the middle name. As long as Aksel Hennie is satisfied, I am satisfied, Lepperød replies.
Get a lot of work
When Dagbladet spoke to Lepperød this weekend, he was able to confirm that the request had been submitted, but had not yet been approved. When you get approval the first time, you think you can have a lot of control quickly.
– When I get that approval, I have to change the passports and everything. Worst of all, I have to change my passport and the name of the loan. After all, there is a lot of control in changing names. I thought this was fun, but suddenly it was a lot of work. But I am dedicated to the program, says Lepperød.
When asked how the girlfriend reacted, he replied that she was quite surprised. This is because Lepperød had forgotten to say the name change before doing so.
– He said it would have been nice to know that his partner was changing his name. She thought it was a lot of fun, but I don’t know if she thinks it’s so funny when I really did it, she continues.
The family, however, was not so surprised.
– I do a lot of nonsense all the time. But you may well think that it would have been better with the Jonis surname or something else. It is extremely silly, he says.
– A new Axel Henny in town!
The middle name he plans to keep for the next ten years, and may reveal that once ten years have passed, Joseph will change his name again.
– I removed my mother’s middle name, which is Sundbø, so she said I should correct it. Then I smell that there will be something to the Sundbø Sundbø Sundbø, smile.
For Dagbladet, Jonis Josef describes everything as “completely crazy”, but admits that the choice of name was simple.
– First of all, it’s crazy to let me do it, so I was almost nervous. Martin has a notoriously bad parody of Aksel Hennie, so the choice was easy, he says, adding:
– Watch out guys, there is a new Axel Henny in town!
Furthermore, Jonis Josef says he had a very hard time thinking of a name for Lepperød, but that he will have a good time for the next ten years.
– Until now I fall in love with Martin Abdulle (Joseph’s last name, newspaper. Note), but we’ll see, he concludes.
Do you want to argue?
