The photos were sent in a period from the summer of 2017, when the girl was 14 years old, until the fall of 2019, writes Telemarksavisa.
The man confessed to the fact and estimated that he had sent between 10 and 90 photos of the girl, when she recently appeared in the Nedre Telemark District Court. He explained that he had met the girl through social networks and that she did not answer yes or no when asked if he wanted the photos.
The offended girl told the court that the images already became annoying for the first two weeks.
The man, who has been convicted twice before for similar crimes, has been found criminally sane, but the court has ruled that they can set the sentence below the minimum sentence because the man has a serious mental illness.
The unanimous verdict states that it would be desirable for the man to receive help that could help him end his “frightening, abusive and problematic behavior.”
The six-month sentence is a joint sentence with the conditional part of a 2019 sentence.
