Police are looking for three or four perpetrators after indicating a random robbery.

– This seems to be a coincidence, but we do not know, says task leader Tore Barstad in the Oslo police district.

Police received the report of the stabbing shortly after 6:30 p.m. Friday night.

The incident took place at the Nobel Gate at Frogner in Oslo.

The perpetrators fled the scene and police have searched the area extensively. No one has been arrested yet.

They have also blocked a nearby nursery.

– I laughed

– This is so serious and disgusting that we cannot have it like this, says operations manager Barstad.

The man has been taken to hospital. The police have questioned the man, but will not say anything about what came out of the questioning.

His condition is serious but stable, Detective Mona Nordby tells NRK.

According to Nordby, the man is in his 20s. It shouldn’t be from Oslo.

Gather information

Shortly after 8:30 p.m., the police were still working at the scene. They obtained information from, among others, witnesses and surveillance cameras.

The active search for those responsible has ended.

All patrols in the city must have received a description of the perpetrators.

Everyone must have had hooded jackets, says operations manager Barstad.

One of the people must have had a bright blue jacket and earplugs.

Another is said to have worn a light gray down jacket.

– The perpetrators spoke bad Norwegian, witnesses say they spoke Norwegian kebab, says Barstad.

They ran from the Nobel gate and into Frognerparken after the incident, he adds.
