One person was killed after a car crossed into the opposite lane on E6 north of the Eidsvollen tunnel Tuesday night.
This is confirmed by the eastern police on Twitter.
Police say the deceased is a man in his 70s from Ullensaker. Family members have been notified.
A total of six people were involved in the accident.
E6 is closed in both directions at the Eidsvoll tunnel as a result of the accident, which occurred north of the tunnel.

Four people were in a car and they seem unharmed.
One person in the other car is seriously injured, while another person was trapped, but was released and everything is fine for him, Nygård says.
Police can now confirm that 1 person was killed in the accident. Work is now under way to notify family members.
