Makaveli Lindén is not sane – NRK Oslo and Viken – Local news, TV and radio

– After these three days in court, we have changed our conclusion, said forensic psychiatrist Agneta Nilsson.

Thus, the experts change their own conclusion. Previously, experts had established that Lindén (22), under strong doubts, was criminally sane.

The 22-year-old is charged with the murder of Heikki Bjørklund Paltto in Majorstua in 2018.

The experts have also concluded that Lindén was also psychotic when they examined him.

The reason the experts concluded differently in their written report is that they had no descriptions of what Lindén’s condition was like before and after the murder. But after the testimony in court, the experts change their own conclusion.

Lindén has admitted to killing Paltto, but has not pleaded guilty. This is because he has claimed that he was psychotic at the time of the crime.

The two experts have diagnosed the 22-year-old with undifferentiated schizophrenia.

Childhood friend about Lindén: – She has always been special

– I was more paranoid than before.

A childhood friend accused of murder Makaveli Lindén (22) said this when he testified in the Oslo District Court on Wednesday.

– This was not the Christian (Lindén’s previous name) that he knew. But it has always been special, said the childhood friend.

He and two other young men explained on Wednesday. The three men lived together in a bus in Oslo in the fall of 2018. Lindén lived there while she was in Oslo.

The three men explained how the Swede accused of murder behaved in the days leading up to the murder.

He lived with Lindén: – He was unstable

Two of the men had known Lindén since they were little, while the third did not know him. The third young man did not get along with Lindén, who seemed unstable, according to the man.

– I saw it twice. But I saw that he was mentally struggling and unstable, that’s at least my impression.

It was like talking to a wall, the man described.

– His eyes were rolling.

The man, who did not know Lindén before, finally decided to move out of the apartment and slept elsewhere because of Lindén.

-We did not agree and we fought, he said in court.

In the end, the others also received enough. They told Lindén that she had to move.

– We got bored and kicked him out of the bus, said the childhood friend who had known Lindén for the longest of the three men.

In court Monday, Lindén explained that on the day of the murder she was looking to rob people and apartments in order to finance an apartment in Oslo.

People claimed that they wanted to kill him.

While Lindén was in Oslo, he is said to have told the other three that someone would kill him in Sweden. They did not believe this.

– He used to say things that weren’t cool about him. For example, it could be that people were looking for him, said the childhood friend who had known Lindén for the longest time.

While Lindén was in Oslo, she ended up in several fights. Among other things, there was an episode at a karaoke bar and with one of the other three on the collective.

The other childhood friend said that Lindén couldn’t behave while in Oslo.

– He looked at people and made strange comments, said the childhood friend.

In addition, Lindén spoke several times about the devil.

“I take it easy in Belgium”

Despite Lindén appearing paranoid and unstable, the two childhood friends were shocked when they discovered that Lindén was wanted for the murder of Heikki Bjørklund Paltto.

– I didn’t think it was true.

On Friday, October 19, 2018, the three men were summoned for questioning. Lindén’s childhood friend had contacted the police after discovering that the police were looking for the friend.

While he was being questioned by the police, Lindén called his friend. Then the police seized the mobile phone. Later that night, Lindén sent a photo with the text “I take it easy in Belgium.”

Four days later, Lindén was arrested in Dijon, France. The Swede is also charged with the murder of a 58-year-old woman in Mechelen, Belgium.
