The Progress Party and the FNB promote distrust towards Lan Marie Berg, Councilor for the Environment and Transport of Oslo.
The motion of no confidence is promoted by the leader of the Progress Party group, Camilla Wilhelmsen, and People’s Action no to more toll group leader Bjørsn Revil.

The background is the findings made in PWC’s investigation into violations of the Work Environment Law at the energy recovery agency in Oslo, dating from 2017 and 2018.
– There are serious, systematic and persistent violations of the Work Environment Law. EGE has systematically violated procurement regulations and there is considerable waste of public funds. There has been a lack of management and control at Berg’s agency for a long time, and the city council is ultimately responsible for these conditions, Wilhelmsen says in a press release.

The two parties also believe that Berg has violated the city council’s duty to provide information.
– This shows serious violations of the Work Environment Law and procurement regulations. Distrust is the strongest parliamentary tool that the city council has. We believe Councilmember Lan Marie Berg does not deserve the trust of the city council, say Revil and Wilhelmsen.
