In the Vårt Land poll, the Conservatives are still the largest party, with 25.6 percent support. This is a jump of almost four percentage points from the previous survey.
However, the Labor Party is clearly larger than the Center Party, which they were with even in December. The party is also more than four percentage points ahead of the January monthly average in the Polling Survey.
– The poll is an expression of the fact that the whole party has been allowed to speak about a just crisis policy for the unemployed, businesses and struggling youth, Labor leader Jonas Gahr Støre tells the newspaper.
He says the pressure on the party leader position has drawn a lot of support.
– I receive messages of support from known and unknown party colleagues. It is motivating, but I focus on diverting attention from internal relationships and focusing on problems in ordinary people’s lives, says Støre himself.
In the poll, the opposition has 101 out of 169 seats in the Storting. Only the Labor Party, the Conservative Party and the Red Party are moving forward. The Liberal Party would come out of the Storting entirely and gain support of just under 1.6 percent.
Party support in percentage (variation from December in parentheses): Conservatives 25.6 (+3.8), Labor 24.2 (+2.8), Sp 19.6 (-1.7), Frp 10 .0 (-2.1), SV 7.6 (-0.4), Red 3.8 (+0.5), ODM 3 (-0.8), KrF 2.7 (-1.1) , Left 1, 6 (-1.5), André 1.9 (+0.5).
The survey was conducted from January 18-24 by Norstat for Vårt Land. There are 954 respondents.
