This week was the final premiere of a new season of the TV 2 hit “Farmen,” and in familiar flair, viewers have already received everything from loud discussions to evening prayers.
The latter received much attention from Raymond Røsekland (36) of Osterøy, among others, when the priest Thor Haavik, 26, prayed for him on the edge of the bed.
I want control
Røskeland has already managed to make a name for himself this season, and avid fans have also noticed a detail of the contestant’s outfit being skimmed in post-production.
Canceled the wedding – joined the “Farm”
On several occasions, Røskeland is seen in the courtyard in his private clothing, often indicating yellow work clothes. Now, “The Farm” press officer on TV 2, Alex Iversen, explains why the logo will be removed from the 36-year-old’s clothing.
– What has been leaked is a logo of Raymond’s private company, says Iversen, continuing:
– We have no rules that all logos are removed in the program. They have the opportunity to wear their own clothes, among other things because we want people to appear as themselves.
At the same time, the press officer says that the production wants to have editorial control over the visible marks and that, therefore, the skid is relevant in some cases.
– But it is not done consistently, says Iversen.
– I hope people behave
Raymond Røskeland was informed about the program by his girlfriend, but he never imagined that he would be selected to participate in “The Farm”.
– All of a sudden I was going to an audition like that and I thought I couldn’t do this, but now I’m sitting here, he said when Dagbladet met him shortly before the recording started.
At the time, Røskeland had no doubt that viewers will see his temperament throughout the season.
– I don’t think the people of “Farm” know what he’s embarked on. I hope people behave, so you don’t have to watch it, he continued.
The 36-year-old also had a clear idea of what kinds of people he didn’t get along with:
– Guys who put on makeup. Things like Bærum things. Petter Pilgaard is very good, but there are many who are not. Time will tell what the farm will be like, he replied.
