His contract originally expired in the summer of 2021, but it has been extended by one year.

The same is the contract of assistant Morten Kalvenes, while goalkeeping coach Jonas Ueland Kolstad continues for three new years.

That is crucial, of course. We are a team and we work incredibly well together, says Knutsen.

Bodø / Glimt say they are in the final phase of negotiations with Aasmund Bjørkan to extend their contract for three new years.

The Nordics will come out, among other things, in the Champions League standings this summer.

This year, they secured the first league gold for a team from northern Norway.

They also cleared the table for most of the awards. Philip Zinckernagel was named Player of the Year, Jens Petter Hauge Young Player of the Year, Kjetil Knutsen Coach of the Year, and Bodø / Glimt as “Team of the Year”.

Danish Kasper Junker was also the club’s top scorer, while Philip Zinckernagel set new points records in the Eliteserien.

– It’s a good feeling. We have been very good this year, Zinckernagel said when he secured the gold in November.

– I’m touched. There are many emotions, Kjetil Knutsen told Eurosport after the match.
