The long-awaited second season of the Netflix series “Home for Christmas” arrived on Friday. For those who remember well, the first season ended with the main protagonist Johanne, played by Ida Elise Broch (33), opening the front door with a subsequent facial expression of surprise.
Who was calling has been up in the air since then, but in season two you finally know the answer.
There are probably more who have been sitting comfortably on the couch this weekend to devour the six episodes. On the other hand, it is possible that not everyone has realized that Juliane Snekkestad (25) appears in one of them.
It is in episode three that Snekkestad is involved. The 25-year-old plays the role of “angry girlfriend,” according to the caption.
For those who have not done well yet, it is in a scene that takes place in a nightclub, where Johanne’s character meets his old girlfriend Stein, played by Mads Sjøgård Pettersen (36), that Snekkestad suddenly appears.

Johanne and Stein dance together on the dance floor, while an annoyed woman, played by former “Idol” winner Jenny Langlo (27), can be clearly seen and two girlfriends glaring at them. One of the friends is Snekkestad.

Later in the episode, Johanne goes to the bathroom, and when she finishes and opens the door, Langlo, who happens to be Stein’s girlfriend, is seen standing with her two friends. Here you can see Snekkestad again, before the dodo door is sniffed in Johanne’s face.
Langlo was the one who closed the door and comes with a warning to Johanne to stay away from her boyfriend. Next to him is Snekkestad with a grave mine.

– I love history
Snekkestad explains to Dagbladet that he got the role because he knows director Per-Olav Sørensen.
– He’s an incredibly nice guy. Got a little stage in the middle of filming this summer, says Snekkestad.

Also, the 25-year-old explains that it was incredibly fun to be a part of the Netflix series, noting that there were a lot of great people on set. She herself thinks the “Home for Christmas” series is incredibly funny and cute.
– I love the whole story and I think Ida Elise Broch is super charming, she adds.
Snekkestad, who works as a model, recently stated in an interview with Dagbladet Magasinet that she also dreams of working in acting.
However, the dream came true in part when he landed a small role in the big movie “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” with Hollywood star Angelina Jolie (45) in the lead role last year.
The film was directed by Norwegian Joachim Rønning (48), whom Snekkestad met by chance two years ago.
– It was really fun to see how such a large production works. Even though I only had a small role, it really made me realize that this is a movie that I want to make, he told Magasinet.
Has offered challenges
When asked if he was doing something active to pursue his acting dream, Snekkestad replied that for a while he thought he had to study acting.
– But friends with acting education have said that if you have talent, then you have talent. I am used to cameras and have done several commercials, but of course I have to learn how to create a character. In the last few months, therefore, I have spent some time on online courses, he continued.
Like many others, it has been a very different year for Snekkestad, and for Dagbladet, Snekkestad describes 2020 as a strange year that has presented several challenges.
– Corona has offered me many challenges in terms of work and travel, but I have also learned a lot from this. The most important thing is to take care of each other, also everything else is fixed eventually, he says.
As most people have probably realized, Snekkestad is in a relationship with Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s son (47), Marius Borg Høiby (23). The two have been together since 2018.
– We thrive very well
Earlier this year, Snekkestad revealed how the two first met. He was featured on the Nettavisen podcast “Schendis.”
– I lived in Los Angeles in 2014, he also lived there in 2016 or something like that. That was actually where we met. I was in town to do a photoshoot, actually the one that ended in Playboy, and I first met him through a mutual friend. We went out and met, the 25-year-old said.
