Former President Donald Trump did several television interviews last night, the first longer interviews with him after he was acquitted in the Supreme Court case.

In addition to repeating the false claim that his election was stolen, it was also revealed that he is not very happy after the big CNN interview of President Joe Biden earlier this week.

“I saw that he said there was no vaccine when he took office, but he got a dose before he took office,” Trump told Newsmax.

To attack Biden

In November of last year, Trump claimed that the Pfizer vaccine had been created as a result of his policies and that another president would spend up to five years developing a vaccine. He also said the vaccine would be approved soon.

He was given the green light in the United States on December 12 and two days later the first syringe was placed.

– But we had it long before that. We gave millions of doses, Trump said in last night’s interview.

– So, either you don’t tell the truth, otherwise you will be mentally gone. One or the other.

– Could you be kidding me? Because frankly, that was a very stupid statement.

According to Trump, many have come to his defense after Biden’s statement.

– The bite is slaughtered by the whole thing. Even haters say the vaccine was announced much earlier, Trump said.

“I stumbled verbally”

Former Trump press secretary Kayleigh McEnany was among those who responded Twitter.

– How does Joe get away with it?

One of the Washington Post fact-checkers, Glenn Kessler, answers McEnany. He believes that Biden “stumbled verbally” and notes that the president had mentioned the 50 million doses earlier in the interview.

– Former Trump officials should calm down, it just seems stupid.

CNN Fact-checker Daniel Dale points to the same thing.

– I look into the allegation and many other allegations that Biden made, but it is obvious that he did not attempt to claim that the vaccine did not exist under Trump.

Kessler write also to the fact that people make mistakes on live television and note that Biden’s stuttering may have been recorded here.

– I know it’s fun to record a video and be upset on social media. But the most appropriate thing is if a politician repeatedly tells the same lie, day after day, no matter how often it is verified. I will not mention names, of course, write. Twitter.

This he said

At one point during the interview, Biden spoke about the need for more people to work in the distribution of vaccines, writes the AP news agency.

– It is one thing to have the vaccine, which we did not have when we took over the office, but one that gives the vaccine. How are you going to put the vaccine on someone’s arm? Biden asked.

That, of course, is not the case. Two vaccines were developed, in distribution, and administered to Americans before Biden became president, the news agency writes. As mentioned, vaccination began in the United States in mid-December.

But before Biden’s mistake, he also stated that there were 50 million doses available when he took office, but that there was no reserve stock to take off in the first few weeks.

– There was nothing in the fridge, figuratively and literally, and there were ten million doses available a day. We have increased it in the first three weeks we were in office, to significantly more than that. We went to Pfizer and Moderna and we said “can you produce more vaccines and do it faster?” Not only were they willing to go from 200 to 400, but they agreed to increase to 600 million doses, Biden said.

The White House has transcribed and published the full interview with CNN.

– The election has been stolen

Trump has been deprived of most social media due to allegations of voter fraud, but he still has airtime in the right-wing media.

On Wednesday, he called for more interviews, in what are the longest first interviews with him after he was acquitted in the Supreme Court case.

“It was a fixed and stolen election,” Trump told Newsmax.

In another interview with One America News Network, Trump says that “the count was not very good.”

A third interview, conducted with Fox News host Sean Hannity, has yet to air.

The allegation of electoral fraud has been rejected several times, also in several judicial rounds.
