Jerv played LSK last Wednesday, now both teams must be in quarantine.

The NFF writes in a press release Friday night.

Jerv’s match against Åsane on Saturday has already been postponed. They confirm on their own websites that one of their players has given a positive corona test.

In September, Jerv was the first club in Norwegian top football to have a player infected with the coronavirus. At that time, the team had to postpone three league games. Sørlendingene, along with a few others in the Obos league, has played one game less than most teams.

Lillestrøm also confirms on its own website that they must be quarantined for ten days. Therefore, Sunday’s game against the YMCA is postponed.

Two new quarantines in the Obos league have consequences for the league final. NFF now, along with Norsk Toppfotball and Discovery, Networks, will once again frame the pre-Christmas games.

– It is very important and very important that clubs notify the NFF as soon as they have an infection. Then you have the opportunity to implement measures. The infection situation in Norway today is serious and we repeat the call for our clubs to isolate themselves as much as possible, says the head of the competition department, Nils Fisketjønn.

On Friday afternoon, TV 2 received confirmation that Åsane’s entire team must be quarantined, after one player tested positive.
