Now, the man who fired the explosive charge asks the party he turned his back on for more generosity.
– I’ve been there all day. Then you might be generous enough to say “thank you for all you have contributed.”
This is how the son of the plumber from Groruddalen sums up the violent reactions after the transition crash to the Center Party.
“Betray self-absorbed.” “Traitor.” “Illojal”
After the prominent Labor profile pulled the cat out of the bag, he hailed it with insults. “Betray self-absorbed.” “Traitor.” Illojal. “Without integrity”.
Jan Bøhler has held most possible positions in the Labor Party and has represented the party in the Storting for 16 years. Jan Bøhler (68) will now rally the voters as the main candidate of the Center Party in the capital.
– How long have you been thinking about this, when did the process begin?
– This has not been my plan at all. What has convinced me is the call of all the voters. It has made a great impression on me.
– I really like Vedum
– But why exactly the Center Party?

– It was completely natural for me and I felt the duty to move on. It is important to be an ombudsman. Sp was the only party that responded positively. They contacted me and said “there is room for that with us.” We have been together a lot in the Storting, and I prosper with many politicians from the SP, and I like Vedum very much. The party has several working and small-class people among the voters, that is, the same kind of people as in Groruddalen.

– Does anyone think you stab your own group in the back and label you disloyal and deceitful?
– If they do their best for the problems they fight for, then I don’t understand that it will be a problem. Both parties want a change of government. There should be concentration instead of biting and teasing.
– I wish they could be more generous
– Are you disappointed, angry, provoked or surprised by the strong negative reactions, or is this as expected from your former colleagues and friends of the party?
– I wish we could separate teams as friends. We should think about how it is perceived among people. I have no need to go in and say “What did you say then?” and so. I wish they could be more generous and generous. But I wish you luck and hope that you will be successful in the election campaign.
– Does criticism affect you?
– I do not intend to make a novel about this, I continue working for what I believe.
– I think people understand my reasoning
– Why don’t you retract, are you not a person who is afraid to speak?
– I don’t want to go down to that level there. I am confident in myself and I believe that people understand my reasoning. I don’t think people have a sense of those who try to use those words. Many respond. It can make a bad impression. I notice this in all the messages I have received.
– Do you want to encourage others at the party to do the same as you?
– I made my choice based on calls from thousands of people to continue in politics. So it is not relevant to Labor as it was now. Voters say that they recognize themselves in me, they know that I live and live like them, that we share the same experiences.
– I don’t have time to sit in a black car
– How would you have reacted if your previous teammates had done the same as you?
– I always believe that we should be spacious, think the best of people and not stigmatize or mistrust others.
– If there is a change of government, you can remain in the same government as your previous party colleagues. What’s your opinion about it?
– I am not so concerned about government speculation. Trygve has told me that elected representatives should be as open as possible to the people, and I have said that I will continue with that. If I am elected, I worry about having time to work as I have done in recent years, being where the people are. So I don’t have time to sit in a black car or be surrounded by security people.
Likes both Støre and Slagsvold Vedum
– Who do you think should become prime minister if there is a change of government, Støre or Slagsvold Vedum?
– I am concerned about the issues I work for, defending the people and the voters, especially in Groruddalen. I am not concerned with speculation about people. I think they’re both good guys, they’re both good. I want the Social Democrats and the Labor Party to rule the country together.
– Do you regret having spent so many years of your political life as a Labor profile?
– No I do not. I have been able to work on important issues, meet a lot of people and learn a lot. I’ve been awake all day So you may have been generous enough to say “thank you for all you have contributed.”
– Can you turn around and return to the Labor Party at a later date?
– No, it’s probably not relevant.
