The strategy has been established to beat the main clubs in the Premier League.
Highly valued Jadon Sancho (20) is rewarded with a sharp pay raise at Borussia Dortmund if he chooses to leave for a move to England this summer.
That’s what the leading German newspaper Bild does. The information is reproduced on Daily Mirror.
Clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are eager to attract the former Manchester City talent who has already become one of the best players in the Bundesliga.

Big salary
However, Borussia Dortmund refuses to give up the fight to stay with Sancho. He has a contract with the yellow jerseys until the end of June 2022. According to Bild, the North Rhine-Westphalia club is preparing to increase the 20-year-old’s annual salary from just under NOK 69 million to NOK 113 million for season.
If so, the young South London star will be the second highest paid by all Borussia Dortmund players behind captain Marco Reus. The latter exceeds NOK 124 million in annual salary payments.
This season, the Wing had 17 goals and 19 goals in 35 matches in all tournaments.
Less than a year has passed since Sancho extended his agreement with Dortmund until 2022. The club previously had the same salary strategy for its biggest stars. Both Robert Lewandowski and Pierre-Emmerick Aubameyang previously agreed to stay one more year at the club after receiving a large salary increase.
The main character in the slide?
Dortmund’s leadership has now gained more belief that the same will be done in Sancho’s case.
Norwegian Erling Braut Haaland (19) is just one of the other very promising players in Borussia Dortmund’s stable. American Claudio Reyna (17) is another example of great talent who can contribute to a bright future in “Die Borussen”.
If the club manages to remain the star of the England national team as well, it could take them to new heights in Football Europe in the coming seasons.
It is likely to cost at least NOK 1.3 billion to buy Jadon Sancho for free in the next transition window. If some club clubs are willing to pay that sum, Manchester United are likely to be better equipped than league rivals Chelsea and Liverpool.
It remains to be seen whether United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær and Sancho’s other admirers of English football can now be sidelined from the Borrusia Dormtund salary offer discussion.
