– I was very sorry, says Runar Søgaard about killing his ex-wife’s cat.
In the podcast “Bathina – a podcast”, Runar Søgaard finally admits to shooting and killing his ex-wife Carola Häggkvist’s cat. Write Aftonbladet.
Häggkvist is said to have made the claim in 2011.
“It was worse for me when he shot my cat, but he didn’t like it very much,” he told Metro.
According to Aftonbladet, Søgaard has never confirmed or denied the accusation, until now he admits to shooting the cat.
– I shot that cat and I was very sorry, he says on the podcast.
Publish book
Aftonbladet has tried to get a comment from Sørgaard about the shooting. He does not want to comment and points out that he will release a book in the fall where he writes about most of the things.
The ten-year marriage between Søgaard and Häggkvist has received a lot of media attention, not least because Søgaard shot a deer from his bedroom window in 1996.
The two have subsequently spoken with different versions of what happened between them when it ended in 2000.

In an interview with VG in June about the upcoming book, Søgaard says he will tell the unknown truth about the breakup, also with his second wife Jessica Karlson.
