According to the VG newspaper, Fellesforbundet and Sjømannsforbundet have reported Hurtigruten to the police for violating the immigration law on the ship MS ‘Fridtjof Nansen’.

The ship is currently leased to Tom Cruise and the rest of the film production, and serves as a hotel during the filming of the seventh edition of “Mission Impossible.” The ship is currently in Hellesylt up to the dock, the crew consists mainly of Filipino workers, according to VG.

The unions believe that it is illegal with foreign labor when the ship is at the dock with a hotel function.

– It is completely unsustainable that it is only possible to dock a ship with a salary of up to NOK 29 per hour, union leader Johnny Hansen of the Norwegian Seafarers Association tells the newspaper.

At the same time, sailors employed in Norway are laid off. The review was released Monday night, according to VG.
