– Basically, I had flatly refused to participate as a challenger, says Marianne Lambersøy to VG.
– Being challenging is not easy and I did not intend to say yes. It is an incredibly difficult situation. You have to hold back a lot and it’s not me. But it was just one chance I had to take and I’m happy about that, says Per Gunvald.

– Last year I had to cancel before they told me if I could join or not because my mother-in-law died shortly after. When I applied to join this year, they told me it was good. So I probably thought I’d be with him from the beginning of this time, says Marianne.

– I have followed the Farm for all the years and wanted to join. But it has not fit well. But I didn’t bother to wait another year, so I had to be a challenger, Asle says.
He lives in Geilo, he is a groom and farrier, he runs his own equestrian center with a maximum of 80 horses. Interests: horseback riding, fishing, storytelling or stev entertainment, being in nature.

– I wasn’t nervous at all when we got to the farm. I was just looking forward. The first thing that struck me when I entered the farm was that I was very young here. But I have a competitive instinct and I went for experience, says Per Gunvald Haugen.
On a daily basis, he is a senior advisor at Tryg Forsikring and has interests such as staying in shape with skiing and jogging, local politics and hunting.
