The murder occurred at the home of Heikki Bjørklund Paltto, 24, in Majorstuen, Oslo, on October 15, 2018.
The indictment, which was brought out by order of the Attorney General, shows that Paltto was stabbed 45 times in the head, neck, and upper body with a knife.
Experts have stated that the Swedish man, under strong doubts, is punished by criminal law.
However, the tax authority will initially request a transfer to forced mental health care. At the same time, they open the possibility for them to request custody.
– We accept the conclusion of the Attorney General. Given the uncertainty of forensic psychiatrists, we believe it is legally correct to conclude as the prosecution has done, says Lindén’s defense attorney, Øystein Storrvik.
I was in the Brøset
After the murder, Lindén escaped to France. On his way there, he was accused of killing Johanna Jostameling, 58, in the city of Mechelen, Belgium. This happened six days after the murder in Oslo.
After being sent from France to Norway, Lindén spent many weeks last fall in Brøset, a psychiatric hospital in Trondheim.
In 2017, a psychiatrist in Sweden thought Lindén was psychotic. Norwegian experts who evaluated him last fall believe he is also psychotic today.

Economic reason
As TV 2 understands, there are very few people who can say anything about Sweden’s behavior on the day of the murder in October 2018. Thus, the exclusion of experts was not attributable when he killed Heikki Bjørklund Paltto in Majorstua.
After the interrogation with Lindén, the police still have a photo of the incident before Majorstua’s murder, TV 2 is confirmed.
At around 7.40 in the morning, the Swede robbed a random man in the Main Hall. From the robbery he brought with him a leather bag with a laptop, headphones, house keys, car keys, telephone, and several different cards.
After the robbery, he went into hiding. Coincidentally, he jumped over a fence and ended up in the backyard outside the apartment where Heikki Paltto lived with his friends.
Lindén explained that she knocked on the front door and immediately threatened Paltto, who was alone at home, with a knife.
The police have always felt that the murder was caused for an economic reason. Inside the apartment, the Swede must have gone from room to room looking for valuables.
This happened while Paltto was being threatened with the knife, TV 2 lights up.
