Life lived
‘They could have lived anywhere as long as they were together. Together they shared a love for adventure, travel, family and friends. Costas and Lindsey lived longer during their short lives than most during their lifetime, ”writes the late Lindsey’s sister, Courtney Vogelaar, on the Facebook page created to remember the couple.
The dramatic minutes after death
On Wednesday of last week, Costas Sivyllis and his wife Lindsey Vogelaar were found dead in the wreckage of the plane that had crashed.
Just four days earlier, the couple married and then posed in front of the small propeller plane they crashed into. The accident happened while the newlyweds were on their honeymoon, writes the CBS television channel.
– they loved life
– They were married for four days and loved each other with all their heart and soul. They loved life and lived it to the fullest. This is so painful that I will never be able to explain it, writes the sister on Facebook.
The short trip they received was documented on social media so that friends and family could follow them on the trip, San Miguel police reported, according to CBS.
The newlyweds were headed to Florida when their plane sank just 15 minutes after departure. The two were the only ones on board the plane.
The cause of the accident is not yet clear. The National Transportation Safety Board, which investigates transportation accidents in aviation, is investigating the case.
