The Duke of Sussex has distributed food to those in need in Los Angeles and videotaped several British families with vulnerable children.

It was under the auspices of the WellChild charity, for which Prince Harry is protector, that he held a video meeting with several families of seriously ill children on the royal weekend.

– Its adaptability and strength is absolutely incredible. Never, never, never forget it. Of course, it will be difficult days: I can’t even begin to understand how difficult it is for you, said the prince, adding:

– Having an eleven month old son is enough!

Harry and Meghan’s son Archie turns one in May.

The conversation with different families lasted 30 minutes, and the prince asked the different families how they coped with the covid-19 crisis. The outbreak has naturally created additional challenges for families with sick children.

– Realize how small we are in the big context

The duke was also asked how he was.

– Not bad. I think this is definitely a weird moment: everyone experiences the same thing in very different ways. But the longer this lasts, the harder it will be for each of you, I think, he replied according to People.

Harry thinks that the shape depends on the attitude of the people.

– If the environment is good, if you get up in the morning and think “OK, new day, the whole family has here. What should we discover? Of course, there is fear of what may happen, but there is so much more beyond our control, and suddenly we have realized how small we are in the great context, he says.

Delivered food to the sick in Los Angeles

On Thursday, CNN reports that the Duke and Duchess, who currently reside in Los Angeles after they expressed their public duties to the royal family and lived in Canada for a time, were engaged in charity work in the city.

According to the head of the Angel Food Project, which distributes personalized meals to the chronically ill, Harry and Meghan signed up for the service last week.

For CNN, Richard Ayoub reports that for two days last week, including the first Sunday of Easter, the duke and duchess distributed fresh food for a week and durable items for three weeks to 20 of the charity’s beneficiaries. The couple must have been wearing N95 gloves and masks and have adhered to social distancing rules when distributing food.

People who get food from the Angel Food Project are mainly too sick to leave home to buy food, and the number of people in need has increased dramatically during the crown crisis.

One of the recipients told Ayoub that they did not realize who delivered the food until they left.

– They were dressed casually, that’s not how you expect to see them. You don’t expect to see them at your door, says Ayoub.

On March 31, Meghan and Harry officially released their royalty roles. Then they also stopped using the Sussex Royal brand and started a new charity named after their son Archie, Archewell.
