A group of parents and children in Randaberg, a total of seven people, tested positive for covid-19 this weekend. This is stated by the municipality in a press release on Sunday.

Two school classes with 32 students at the Goa school and 54 children at the Endrestø kindergarten are in quarantine until Wednesday.

– Parents of the students in question have already received a notification from the school, and the infection tracking team will contact everyone by phone, the school indicates on its own website.

The other classes in Goa meet at the usual time on Monday morning.

– New tests, the so-called sequencing, have been carried out on several samples of the group, and no mutated virus has been detected in any of the last cases of infection in Randaberg, says Ole Bernt Lenning in the press release.

Employees and children at the Goa school and Endrestø kindergarten are encouraged to get tested for mild symptoms of respiratory infection.

On Sunday evening, a group quarantine was also reported in Viste’s kindergarten.
– Cluster infection entails waiting for two wards in Viste’s kindergarten to be quarantined, until the tests come back negative. We probably won’t have all the answers to this until Wednesday, says City Chief Physician Lenning.

In total, the quarantine in Viste’s kindergarten includes 28 children and 10 adults.

According to Randaberg24, a person tested positive for corona in kindergarten.
