Grønneberg ate Tix’s headband, but did not apologize – NRK Kultur og underholdning

When Dagbladet’s music critic Anders Grønneberg massacred Tix and the “Fallen Angel,” he promised to eat Tix’s tiara if he wanted to win the pop final.

Tonight MGP winner Tix could be glad Grønneberg had to eat his words. It was not a cordial meeting.

– I think you need a little chat, open Tix, or Andreas Haukeland, with.

He said he reacted more to the cue effect in what Grønneberg has written, especially when he blamed the artists for “laughing a little at Lindmo” to get attention.

It was clear that Tix found it difficult to pronounce these words. On “Lindo” in January, Tix talked about suicidal thoughts.

– Bullying language

– When Grønneberg questions motives, it makes it harder to be open about mental problems, Tix said.

– These attitudes are the reason why it is so difficult for children, in particular, to open up about mental health. Reinforce a stigma.

Grønneberg defended himself saying that he had an honest opinion on Tix’s song. He wasn’t ashamed of being unreasonable, even though he used colorful language and metaphors.

He congratulated Tix on the victory, but didn’t ask why.

– I agree with what I have written. An artist must tolerate hearing what a critic means. It is the critic’s job to make an assessment, he said.

But Tix was not satisfied. He calls Grønneberg’s words purely “intimidating language.”

– You have great power and many readers. With that comes a responsibility. Now you have been wrong several times. I am here to speak, not just on my own behalf.

– I hope you will be more careful in the future. Your words affect not only those you write about, but everyone who reads them, Tix said.

– It is a good idea to have a doctor present.

Live at the Debate, the two were face to face as Grønneberg went to try out the headband, prepared by Dagbladet food expert Christopher Sjuve.

Host Fredrik Solvang commented on the pungent smell. Tix assured that he had sweated a lot in the headband that he had given the chef.

He said Grønneberg could skip the meal, but Grønneberg still took a couple of chunks from the “plate” that looked delicate with toasted parsley and sesame seeds, sprinkled with small pieces of black headband.

It was Christopher Sjuve who came up with the recipe, which he hoped would be digestible. He dropped the glass shards from Tix’s sunglasses, even though Grønneberg had already promised he would eat them too.

Instead, Sjuve put a thick layer of glass shards under the plate, something Grønneberg seemed relieved about.

Sjuve assured that it was not dangerous to eat. In fact, he had sought advice from the Poison Center.

– The only thing that can happen is that it gets stuck in your stomach, but we can fix that with plumbo, joked the chef.

You yourself, with no glass shards in your food, the chef tried to scare Grønneberg by telling him that it would be wise to have a doctor nearby.
