GARDERMOEN (VG) Siv Jensen brought Ketil Solvik-Olsen to school in his speech at the FRP national meeting.

– No, Ketil we will not speak to agree. We will continue to be the ones who dare to say what no one else dares to say, says FRP leader Siv Jensen at his own national gathering in Gardermoen on Saturday.

This was the answer to former FRP Deputy Director Ketil Solvik-Olsen, who yesterday on VG announced that he will return. He asked for more consensus from his party on issues such as immigration.

Repeat the message in an interview with VG after the speech.

– In fact, I repeat what is the main message of the Progress Party. We must be clear on immigration policy, also in the future. We must dare to address issues that others do not dare to address, Jensen tells VG.

– Should there be more Sylvi Listhaug and less Ketil Solvik-Olsen?

– It should be both Sylvi Listhaug and Ketil Solvik-Olsen. And everyone else involved in this. Now it’s Jon Helgheim who is the main spokesperson in this field for us and I think he does a fabulous job, she says.

– Is it a paradox that the FRP does it so weakly, at least in local elections, in Oslo as you do, where the focus on immigration according to Solvik-Olsen is one-sided?

– I think we have a major challenge in all the big cities that we must take seriously in the coming months. This is an important part of the strategy that we are now implementing for the run-up to the electoral campaign, he tells VG.

“Communist bears”

FRP leader Siv Jensen was also healthy on Saturday when she addressed SP leader Trygve Slagsvold Vedum, who has sprung up across Norway.

He wants a government based on the Labor Party and the Socialist People’s Party, but Jensen believes that it is completely unrealistic that such a solution will win the majority.

– For you, Trygve, you will hear from me next week, says Siv Jensen in the speech at the national meeting of Frp.

– You have several problems, Trygve. You’re going to cooperate incomprehensibly with Jonas, but you won’t get the most out of him. Then you have to cooperate with the ODM, SV and the Red Communist Party.

– So you are in negotiations with “Vingle-Jonas”, “Ulve-Audun”, “Bompenge-Lan” and “Kommunist-Bjørnar”, says Jensen.

Siv Jensen says in his speech that taxes in Norway must go down. You want to counteract increased cross-border trade.

He also said that Sp-Trygve, if he switches sides, must forgo more wording in his new program proposal.

Warn Erna Solberg

Prime Minister Erna Solberg has said several times that they use the agreement of the Granavolden declaration as the basis for work in government. It was an agreement that FRP agreed to before leaving government.

Siv Jensen cautions Erna Solberg to believe that Frp will use this as the basis for their work.

– We use the FRP party program as a basis, not the Granavolden declaration, Jensen tells the national assembly.

– Series of unworthy stories

In the speech, Siv Jensen recalled the mistakes made during the corona pandemic.

– Through the pandemic, we have heard a number of unworthy stories about how the elderly, the mentally disabled and family members deprived of very basic rights. The shutdown hit many people hard, but perhaps especially in the healthcare sector, says Jensen.

VG revealed this fall that 133 municipalities introduced a visitor strike for more than 2,400 people with developmental disabilities living in shared housing and nursing homes. But the municipalities made only 27 coercive decisions.

In the speech, Jensen also criticized Erna Solberg for poor answers about health queues in the previous Question Time at the Storting and said health queues should go down.

– We will make important decisions to eliminate the crown queue in the health care system and pressure the government to use all available private capacity, he says.
