TV 2 US correspondent Fredrik Græsvik deactivated his Twitter account on Saturday morning after a heated debate with Frp’s parliamentary representative Jon Helgheim.
Helgheim accused Græsvik late Friday of false news after reporting from the United States.

Græsvik reacted strongly to the message early Saturday Norwegian time.
– Being repeatedly misled by a parliamentary representative (who has never misled me) is more than it bothers me. Thanks for my Twitter, Græsvik writes shortly after 08.00 on Saturday morning.
Græsvik’s account was deactivated on Saturday morning. Græsvik did not respond to Dagbladet’s question on Saturday.
Helgheim says the following to Dagbladet.
– Luckily you do not write on Twitter, if you make complaints that cannot be documented. That’s how much he has to endure, I could have worked a lot harder against him, he says.
– Journalists must think about how they are formulated. So neither can it be said that Trump encourages electoral fraud. It’s too grandiose a claim for which there is no coverage, says the FRP politician.

Græsvik and Helgheim have previously been in heated debates on Twitter. In August, Helgheim also criticized the TV 2 profile for fake news after Græsvik wrote that President Donald Trump wants to reject democracy.
