The woman was among 25 people who were admitted to hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning after the illegal party in a bunker on St. Hanshaugen in Oslo on Sunday night, where about 200 people passed. She was treated with oxygen Sunday night.
– I remember that we went to check the units to see what had happened. When we were about to enter the room, which was actually sealed, we saw that the door was broken. Inside, three children lay unconscious, she says.

Dagbladet spoke Sunday afternoon with a man who also attended the party. He transported the main unit to the cave and claims that this and that, which was used to supply lighting and sound systems, and which had created a huge concentration of carbon monoxide, were placed in a secure, ventilated room.
– Professional electricians helped secure and mount the units in the room, which had a hole in the ceiling. It was closed so people couldn’t get in, he says.
However, the police and firefighters have told various media, including VG, that they do not know of a ventilated room in the bunker. When asked if the electricians were hired, the man replies that “they were probably better known, who also attended the party.”

The woman says that one of the children who was lying unconscious in the unit room was hit and was bleeding from the head.
– I thought he was dead. When we picked it up to remove it, only the head and the snake were hanging. It was incredibly scary, he says.
According to the woman, the carbon monoxide hit them hard. She, and the people she was there with, must have had to run in and out to get some rest from the toxic gas.
– Over time, more people came to help us carry them out, and finally the police also came to help, he says.
Police arrived at the bunker at 03.46 after they accidentally came across several street youth in the area and started an evacuation. It is not yet known if any of the party participants called the police or health personnel for help.
– No one understood how bad this could go. It’s absolutely horrible to think about, says the woman.

From night to Sunday it is not the first time that the bunker has been used as a party room, according to Dagbladet. The man who transported the main unit to the site claims that they did not enter on Sunday and says there were no barriers in front of the entrance.
– I don’t mean we broke in. We prefer to see the bunker as a kind of “public place” since there were no barriers outside, he says.
According to the man, everything happened responsibly, but he would have liked the evening to have a different outcome.
At the same time, the Diakonissehuset Lovisenberg Foundation, which owns the property where the party took place, says they searched the entrance to the bunker on Thursday. They call the party a serious robbery.
The police have reported the matter and are under investigation.
