Four hours after being named Spell of the Year, Sigrid Solbakk Raabe can cheer on the top spot on the UK’s official singles chart.
The 23-year-old from Ålesund is one of 25 vocalists who have joined together under the name Live Lounge Allstars. Under the auspices of the BBC, they have created a cover version of the Foo Fighters classic “Times Like These”.
The song was released last Thursday. Great interest in the UK made it top iTunes and went straight to fifth on the UK chart the following day.
Since then, he has struggled a lot with The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” for first place, and the BBC is now confirming that “Times Like These” will win.
