Infected by foreign workers – has good control

The infection is said to have come from a foreign worker who has worked on a construction project in Rana.

Rana’s municipal chief physician, Frode Berg, says it is a cluster infection:

– The infection is very concentrated and we have good control of the source of infection, Berg tells NRK.

There should be no indication of a major outbreak.

– The foreign worker has infected another who works in the workplace. Thus, the infection has been carried home and infected all three students who belong to the same household.

But the doctor says they are surprised the infection has spread.

– Based on the information we have, there is not much contact with this foreign worker. So it is definitely an infectious virus, says Berg.
