Five new infected in Trondheim

The municipality of Trondheim writes in a press release Wednesday morning.

“Of the five, there are three women and two men,” writes the municipality.

Close contact

Three of the five infected Tuesday are infected from a known close contact, the municipality says.

“Two still do not know the source of the infection, but we have an idea where they may have been infected. Infection monitoring is ongoing for these. Everyone has a smooth course,” the press release says.

One of those infected on Tuesday is 10 years old, two are 20 years old, while two others are 30 years old, according to the municipality of Trondheim.

665 tests were performed in the last 24 hours, it is further stated.

Have you been to these places?

The Infection Control Office asks people who have visited the following places during the aforementioned period to pay special attention to the symptoms:

3. mars:

Egon Prinsen around 7:00 p.m.

6. mars:

Fretex Fjordgata from 11.00 to 16.00.

Rema Byåsen shopping center around 17.00-18.00.

Byåsen menu around 17.00-18.00.

Coop Prix Sverresborg around 17.00-18.00.

8. mars:

Coop Prix Sverresborg at 1pm.

If you have been to any of these places, you may have been exposed to an infection, it is noted in the press release. If symptoms occur in people who have visited the specified sites, they should be tested.

Vaccine

Regarding vaccination against the coronavirus, the municipality can now report that 13,284 people have received dose number one, while 7,035 have received dose number two.

Three on Monday

On Monday, three people tested positive for the coronavirus in Trondheim.

– Two are infected by known close contact, one has a currently unknown source of infection, but infection control also has a clear perception of the source of infection here, the municipality wrote in a press release.
